Membership Benefits & Dues
Members of Farmed Animal Funders (FAF) collectively donate the global majority of philanthropy fighting factory farming and, in the past year alone, gave more than $160 million to charitable initiatives for this cause. While every member has autonomy over their own philanthropy and many have diverse theories of change, we know we can end industrialized animal agriculture faster together. Membership to FAF offers opt-in opportunities to foster collaboration, donate strategically, and learn more about reforming our global food system.

Dues
In order to cover the operating costs for this group, we need to raise funds each year. Most funder groups raise funds by asking members to pay annual dues. We have modeled FAF’s dues on those of other funder affinity groups.
Annual dues are 1% of annual philanthropic giving in the farm animal protection movement, up to a maximum of $75K in annual dues.
For example: if a member’s philanthropic giving for the movement 2024 totaled $600,000, their dues for 2025 would be $6,000. If a member’s giving for 2024 totaled $10M, their dues for 2025 would be $75,000.
New members are welcome to join FAF with dues waived for their first year.
